Dr. Tyia Wilson received her Ph.D. in lifespan developmental psychology at West Virginia University. She is currently a second-year post-doctoral scholar at the University of Pittsburgh in the department of Psychiatry working on a T32 in the Developmental Alcohol Research Training Program. Her research focuses on understanding the social (e.g., peer networks), environmental (e.g., availability of drugs/substances) and psychological (e.g., stress, coping) factors that influence positive emotional health in Black adolescent populations.
