Tyia Wilson, PhD
Research Scientist
Dr. Tyia Wilson received her Ph.D. in lifespan developmental psychology at West Virginia University. She is currently a Research Scientist in the Pediatrics Department at the University of Pittsburgh dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of Black youth. Her research focuses on understanding the social (e.g., peer networks), environmental (e.g., availability of drugs/substances) and psychological (e.g., stress, coping) factors that influence positive emotional health in Black adolescent populations to inform future interventions.
